MEET SEAN

I am an entrepreneur - currently focused on real estate development. Some of my professional (tie wearing) endeavors include being a teacher, coach, dorm parent, attorney, fundraising consultant, independent school and higher education administrator.  Some of my not so professional (no tie needed) pursuits include driving a box truck, being a fraternity leadership consultant (yeah, it’s an actual thing), house painter, builder of things, hack artist, and lobster sternman - for the only female captain in Casco Bay. 

How did you get started? 

I’m not sure I’ve gotten started yet.  I get bored easily and have a high tolerance for risk and an intense fear of failure.  This makes for an interesting combination - mostly for the folks close to me. I’m trying to figure out what’s next.  I love the water.  I’d like to spend more time working on or near or with the water.  I’d also like to find a reason to own and operate a small tractor. I’d like to spend less time working with other humans - which, most folks tend to agree, is beneficial for all…

Passions + Hobbies

Creating.  Building. Exercising.  Traveling.  Music.  Sailing.  Watching my son play soccer.  

Fun Fact: I’m a lifelong vegetarian and I have no problem wearing leather.  

Why do you use Union + Co?

Mostly as a place to change from one set of clothes into another.  To flirt with the co-founder and my partner and love of my life, Mandy.  When I see Union + Co members working so happily in our space, it gives me great satisfaction, and the inspiration and confidence to take the next big risk.
