Soul Activation Kirtan with Guided Meditation by Front + Centre

~Create greater stillness in your mind and body

~Ignite the Love within you

~Connect powerfully to your true essence

Join us for an hour of soul-centric, high vibe meditation, mantra, and music for this special Valentine’s Day Love edition of Soul Activation Kirtan. With roots in India, Kirtan is a call-and-response style song or chant set to music to express loving devotion to the divine or connect to our spiritual essence. A form of Bhakti Yoga, Kirtan has the magical ability to clear your mind and open your heart.

We’ll start off with a Guided Meditation to connect powerfully to the Love within, followed by a number of call-and-response chants and songs from a variety of spiritual traditions, which may include Hinduism, Buddhism, Native American, and more. This hour together will be a powerful and interactive group experience. Be prepared to release stress and tension and to be uplifted and empowered by the power of heart-centered music and community!

For this socially distanced event, join by Zoom or in person at Front + Centre. Bring a cushion, blanket, or other items to help you be comfy, and feel free to bring a shaker/rattle or a journal. Dress comfortably for sitting, dancing, or lying down. To exercise caution with social distancing, this event will be limited to 12 participants. About the Facilitators

Robyn Wiley, Kirtan leader:

Robyn has been hosting and leading spiritual workshops for a decade and is very excited to be incorporating her love of singing and Kirtan into this event and upcoming workshops! Though beginning her Bhakti Yoga journey with traditional Hindu chants, she has been enjoying learning and singing chants from a variety of spiritual traditions including Buddhism, Sufism, Native American tradition, and more. More recently, Robyn has been writing her own English and mixed English/Kirtan soul-centric songs and raps. She regularly posts original English and non-English meditations and Kirtan music on her Facebook page. Robyn is incredibly passionate about sharing Kirtan, meditation, and other powerful tools that have assisted her along with numerous clients and students over the years in quieting the mind and stepping more fully into Self.

Kurt McNeil, Co-Leader:

A Carpenter by trade and long-standing yogic practitioner, Kurt enjoys singing and playing Kirtan and other high vibe music. He is excited to be accompanying Robyn on drums, ukulele, and guitar for this event as a way to spread Love in the world. Kurt’s driving force to practice and share Kirtan is compassion for humanity and all beings.
