Maine’s First Ship Launches in Downtown Bath

Join Maine’s First Ship at the Bath Freight Shed on June 4th for a celebration to commemorate the launch of the Maine's First Ship reconstruction of the pinnace Virginia and to thank the many volunteers who have shared their time and talents to bring both history and vessel to life.

Spend the day in Bath and join in for the celebrations, beginning with the Bath Farmer’s Market from 8:00a - noon, to the Bath Historical Society talk with John Morse IV, of Sagadahock Real Estate Association, to the Maine’s First Ship cannon blast at noon, and the finale, the celebration and launch of the Virginia starting at 3:30pm.
